Peter grew up in Italy at the Grand Hotel of Rimini (the one in Fellini’s award winning “Amarcord”), where Federico Fellini was a regular guest and dear family friend. After the violent death of his father, Peter helped the family avoid financial and moral bankruptcy and successfully recover, while getting his BA cum laude in business administration. He started his professional career as an investment banker. Then he went to therapy, became an actor and writer and moved to the United States.

T H E   A C T O R

Peter voiced three characters in Guillermo del Toro “Pinocchio,” best animated feature Oscar winner. 

He worked with Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Remo Girone in James Mangold’s audience and critics acclaimed, and Oscar winning film, “Ford v Ferrari”, where he plays Ferrari Pit Chief, Mauro.  

Peter is Gino Valocco in Ben Affleck’s gangster saga, “Live By Night,” and is in season 2 of “Shut Eye” on Hulu, with Jeffrey Donovan and Isabella Rossellini.  He is in the critically acclaimed Emmy nominated CBS show, “S.W.A.T.” where he plays congressman Ellis Wright. Featured in the award wining show Mad Men,” (season 6 “Collaborators) where he worked with Jon Hamm, Linda Cardellini and Brian Markinson, directed by Jon Hamm.

Winner of the Best Actor award at the Route66 Film Festival, and winner of the Distinctive Achievement Award at the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival for his role in the multi-award winning “Into The Silent Sea.” Screen Shot 2016-01-01 at 5.28.52 PM

 

Peter plays the lead role of Father Luca in “The Listening Box,” winner of the DGA Diversity Jury Prize Award, The Austin Film Festival Audience Award and the Savannah Film Festival HBO Award.

He plays Markus in “KARA – An Unofficial Star Wars Film.”

He joined the cast of Think Like A Man (Screen Gems), based on Steve Harvey’s best selling book, “Act Like A Woman Think Like A Man.” He worked under the skillful direction of Tim Story (Barbershop, Fantastic Four) with Jerry Ferrara (Entourage) and Gabrielle Union (FlashForward, Bad Boys II).

Prolific Voice Over and Dubbing actor, Peter’s credits include the video game Assassins Creed 2: Brotherhood”, “Assassins Creed Final Episode” where he also coached lead actor Roger Craig Smith for his Italian accent, Dreamworks Animation “Madagascar 3 and Roberto Benigni’s Oscar winning “Life Is Beautiful.”

He co-stars in the acclaimed and award winning web series Karma’s A B*tch  selected as Best of Web on Virgin America.
